Calling all paddlers!
To keep our swimmers safe we need twenty-one kayak and SUP volunteers for the final edition of Jacksonville Triathlon Series, Race #3 on Saturday morning, August 4th. We will donate $25 to Special Olympics Florida - Duval County on behalf of each volunteer. Use the link below and scroll down to Kayak Support to sign up. Please bring your kayak to the dock directly in front of the Black Knight building using the service road underneath the Fuller Warren Bridge. After dropping off your kayak, you may park your car at the Black Knight upper-level parking lot. Please report to the dock by 6:15 am.
What we are doing:
Volunteer kayak support crew will escort swimmer waves approximately one mile from the Fuller Warren Bridge to the Main Street Bridge. There will be a lead kayak and a sweep kayak assigned to each wave. There will be approximately seven waves.

Equipment to bring: Two personal flotation devices, and a whistle. We can issue this equipment at the dock if needed.
Schedule:
06:15 Arrive at Dock. We will issue Personal Flotation Devices, Floating Tow Ropes and whistles to those who need them.
